Toil, sweat and joy

The phrase "blood, toil, tears and sweat" was first uttered on 2. July 1849 by Giuseppe Garibaldi when rallying his revolutionary forces in Rome. However, the phrase became well known after a speech given by Winston Churchill to the House of Commons of the Parliament of the UK on 13. May 1940. "I have nothing to offer but blood, toil, tears and sweat". From Sep 2010 to Apr/May 2011 I will try to bike from San Francisco to Santiago. I know this bicycle journey will offer me toil, sweat and joy.

Guatemala

I am now in Nicaragua. Biked through Guatemala, El Salvador and Honduras around 900km on 7 days. So I am right now more than extremely tired, that means extremely extremely tired, haha!

This two small "tops" is volcanoes, Volcano de Fuego 3760 meters high and Volcano de Agua 3765 meters high.

It is many of them in Central America.
